Top Strategies for a Natural Home Ambiance
Spring is here, and we can feel it around. The parks and mountains look greener, and some of us are sneezing and hiding from the pollen.
The natural element is critical to complement most of our projects. I love the touches that nature brings to our homes. You don't need a garden or a fantastic landscape to look through your window to convey the nature inside.
These are some ideas from our projects
The easy way of decorating with potted plants and natural elements
Even if you are not a plan person, there are plants so resistant that will stay with you for a long time.
You can use small plants in decorative pots, which are easy to move around. They add a perfect organic touch to any surface.
2. Green accents on the wall
We used green moss as a decorative element, either as a living moss that needs mist and care or as an artificial moss that stays green without any attention.
3. Built-in planters.
Whether you have a small balcony or a large backyard, built-in planters can provide a creative and practical solution for adding greenery to your space. Not only do they save space, but they can also serve as a unique design element that complements your decor.
4. Artificial Lawn.
How much a green floor can change a balcony's look is incredible. We added this artificial turf from Synlawn over the concrete floor in one of our projects on Pacific Avenue. The material has its own drain system, so it resists rain and any other weather conditions. And you don't need to worry about mowing and watering.
5. Interior gardens.
Not very often does the building architecture allow us to create a garden inside. We were able to bring a piece of nature directly to this living room, open to the sky, to let the snow and sun come inside the house
6. No green thumb? No problem. Wallpapers are here to help.
We love a good statement, and a mural wallpaper offers an excellent way to add volume and color to a room without taking physical space.
These three are from Wall & Deco, one of our favorite brands, and we love the great variety of natural patterns and the vinyl quality that allows us to use them in wet areas.
7. When your window provides all the greenery you need inside, some views don't require any extra additions.
When you have a view that provides all the greenery you need inside, there's no need for any extra additions. However, window views tend to draw the most attention. I suggest adding some potted plants or a hanging garden to enhance the natural feel of your indoor space. This will not only improve air quality but also provide a calming effect that can help reduce stress levels. Additionally, consider adding some decorative curtains or blinds that complement the plants and the overall aesthetic of the room. With these simple additions, you can transform your indoor space into a peaceful oasis that can be enjoyed by all.
