This single-family residence in Los Altos, California, drew a Parisian family to relocate to the Bay Area. The prime location, the mellow climate, and the greenery surrounding this property especially appealed to the residents. Isolina brought her many years of experience in both Europe and California, providing a perfect opportunity for her to meld the two cultures.

A complete renovation included enlarging the bedrooms, adding a guest suite, and connecting the communal rooms into one cohesive space. We were challenged to create a modern, sophisticated environment that reflected the family’s European roots while seamlessly integrating the existing architecture.

We combined various elements, such as stone, wood, leather, linen, and cotton, to cultivate a light, inviting atmosphere. The expansive windows invite in natural light and provide a view of the tranquil garden.
